10 Reasons to become a MHOA-NJ Member

1. NUMBERS COUNT

The power in numbers of homeowners cannot be overemphasized. There are enough manufactured home owners in New Jersey (approximately 30,000). We can make a difference!

2. UNITY IS IMPORTANT

MHOA-NJ speaks with one voice and focuses on the laws, rules and regulations that affect our everyday life. Why feel powerless and alone, together is better! MHOA-NJ takes your message to our representives and to goverment agencies.

3. NETWORK WITH OTHER HOMEOWNERS

Network with home owners in communities across New Jersey. This is a terrific way to gain insight into problems - for every issue, there are many others who have similar problems.

4. LINK WITH HOMEOWNERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

MHOA-NJ has partnered and linked with other homeowner organizations like the national Manufactured Home Owners Association of America and other state homeowner organizations.

5. CONNECT WITH EXPERTS AND GET YOR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

MHOA-NJ has access to a growing pool of lawyers, policy, planning and housing professionals. We are a terrific resource for information. If we don’t know something, we have the resources to find out about it.

6. MONEY COUNTS

Groups can afford to do what individuals cannot afford to do. When you join MHOA-NJ your dues are nominal. The impact of any financial burden is spread out among thousands of homeowners.

7. WE NEED YOUR KNOWLEDGE

We need you! You are our eyes and ears. We need you to tell us what is happening at the municapal level. MHOA-NJ knows what is happening across the state because you tell us.

8. RESPECT & TRUST

MHOA-NJ has been around for over 50 years. We have won significant victories for manufactured home owners and we continue to work for you!

9. COMMUNICATION

MHOA-NJ communicates with you. We publish a quarterly newsletter, provide chapter mailings, and annual legislative reports. We have an e-mail ALERTS program.

10. WE LISTEN TO YOU

In fact we want you to call, write or email us. We listen to your suggestions and comments. MHOA-NJ has established a Board Advisory Council to set our organization's agenda and to icreate direct feedback and input from members. We try to address your issues and we often ask you questions in our “surveys.” We answer our phones and reply to our emails quickly, and in a professional manner. You count!
